Call for Admission for the academic year 2024-25 

The admission at Kurdistan University of Medical Sciences for the acadmic year 2024-25  is open. The candidates are requested to furnish scan of the following documents along with the filled out Application Form; these documents should be emailed to "Foreign.Students@muk.ac.ir":   The courses will be started on September 2024. 


List of documents required:

 

1. Filled out application form (download the form from the link below.)
2. A recent photo of the applicant (covered hair is compulsory for female candidates.)

·         Image size bigger than: H=600 W=400

·         File size: less than 100 kb and bigger than 50 kb

·         Format: jpg

3. First page of the applicant's passport (at least 9 months valid)

·         Image size bigger than: H=600 W=800 and file size: less than 100 kb (Include only the first page of the passport)

·        
JPEG resolution up to 200, JPEG Quality=10


4. Academic certificate which has been translated into English and confirmed by the Embassy or General Consulate of Islamic Republic of IRAN in the country of origin / study. The academic certificate must include the name of the field of study, date of graduation, name of educational institute, applicant's scores and GPA. Applicants of postgraduate majors must furnish academic degrees according to the table.
         
         



5. Proposal (for applicants of PhD by Research)

6. Two recommendation letters (for applicants of postgraduate programs) 

7. Motivation letter in English (for applicants of postgraduate programs)

8. CV (for applicants of postgraduate programs)

9. Certificate of proficiency in Farsi (Persian) language. *

10. English language proficiency test. ** 



 
* Note: If the applicants cannot furnish the certificate of Farsi language proficiency upon registration, they have to take Farsi language learning classes according to the University programs. International students are required to furnish the certificate of Farsi language proficiency before starting clinical education level. They are supposed to participate in SAMFA test, a standardized test of Farsi language skills (designed by the Iranian National Organization of Educational Testing).  
 
** Note: If the applicants cannot furnish IELTS or TOEFL certificates upon registration, they can participate in the standardized English language proficiency test, designed by the Health Ministry of Islamic Republic of Iran. If they do not pass the test, they must take English classes (according to their level of proficiency).
